Each county has their own Local Health Department that provides various programs and services to their communities, including but not limited to: infant, child and adolescent health, community health, health planning, emergency preparedness and response, immunizations and vaccines, men’s health, women’s health, health prevention education, Safe Kids Florida, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services, breastfeeding education and support and more.
