LORHN assist our rural communities’ vulnerable populations with community-based Health Literacy Education, using an award-winning curriculum by the Florida Literacy Coalition, Inc. for persons of varying literacy and language, offering interactive lessons that will guide persons at-risk of low health literacy skills to gain the tools necessary to obtain, communicate, process and understand the basic health information and services needed to make (one’s own) appropriate health decisions.
